Treibball

If you’ve ever seen a working sheepdog, you know how amazing it is to watch herding dogs effortlessly move sheep.  Treibball, one of the newest dog sports makes an excellent substitute.   Invented in Germany, around 2003, treibball is a recapitulation of herding, minus the sheep.  Dog with the guidance of a  handler have 10 minutes to drive 8 large rubber fitness balls from their starting position in a triangular formation into a soccer-sized goal.   Rules of the American Treibball Association will be discussed.   Are you ready to play ball with your dog?

12125 San Jose Blvd is the address of the Mandarin Library
