NEW CLASS SCHEDULE

Basic Obedience and Recalls 4 months old to 2 yrs old  Puppy Class at Dog Town USA:  September 22nd at 9 am. 

The dog training ­“come” command is probably the most important obedience command you will ever teach your puppy or older dog. At some point in time you will no doubt rely on it to guide your dog away from serious danger.  Loose leash walking and basic obedience commands will be covered.     

Fee $65 per dog (non-refundable) 

September 22nd   Saturday Treibball  Beginners Class 10 am

If you’ve ever seen a working sheepdog, you know how amazing it is to watch herding dogs effortlessly move sheep.  Treibball, one of the newest dog sports makes an excellent substitute.   Invented in Germany, around 2003, treibball is a recapitulation of herding, minus the sheep.  Dog with the guidance of a  handler have 10 minutes to drive 8 large rubber fitness balls from their starting position in a triangular formation into a soccer-sized goal. Classes start Saturday September 22nd register now class size is limited:

Save the date of Wednesday, September 12^th at 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the South Mandarin Branch Library Meeting Room A.  Learn about the newest dog sport Treibball.  Also that evening a lecture on dog behaviors and how us humans add fuel to the fire when it comes to our dog’s behaviors.  Lecture is free to the public.
