Treibball
If you’ve ever seen a working sheepdog, you know how amazing
it is to watch herding dogs effortlessly move sheep. Treibball, one of the newest dog sports makes
an excellent substitute. Invented in Germany , around
2003, treibball is a recapitulation of herding, minus the sheep. Dog with the guidance of a handler have 10 minutes to drive 8 large
rubber fitness balls from their starting position in a triangular formation
into a soccer-sized goal. Rules of the
American Treibball Association will be discussed. Are you ready to play ball with your
dog?
