Air Travel
Results of a survey from the Journal of American Veterinary Association French Bulldogs, Pugs, Boston Terriers, Pekingese, Shih Tzus, and similar breeds are called Brachycephalic. Nasal passages of these breeds are compressed and have trouble breathing under the best circumstances. Obesity which is rampant among these breeds exacerbates the problem adding the stress of air travel. If you are planning to travel with one of these breeds of dog, please consult your vet before traveling.
