Classes at DOGTOWN USA

"Say My Name", is a class structured on recalls, teaching your

dog to come to you in 3 different ways. ( 4 week class @ $65 per dog

class must have at least 5 student minimum to be held.) March 10, 2012

@ 10 am or Thursday March 8th at 7 pm (flat buckled collar, 6 foot leash *no extension leashes,

pea size treats, and water for your dog.)

. "Intro to Click and Focus" getting more attention out of your

dog, click for training results, click for behavior modification. ( 4

week class @ $65 per dog class must have at least 5 student minimum to

be held.) March 10. 2012 @ 11 am (flat buckled collar, flat leash *no

extension leashes, pea size treats, and water for your dog.)

CGC Canine Good Citizen Preparation for the CGC Test and Award.

This class will only be held if there is at least 5 students) 8 week class $85 per dog

Week 8 the CGC Test will actually be held and scored.

Class date will be set once 5 students are signed up. (flat buckled

collar, flat leash *no extension leashes and a 6 foot leash required,

pea size treats, and water for your dog.)

If you knock down a bar during

training. Stop what you are doing, put your dog on a sit or down-stay, pick up the bar, and replace it. Do not go on to the next jump. Stop, put your dog on a sit or down-stay, pick up the bar, and replace it. Your dog will eventually learn that dropping bars stops the fun. Sometimes a knocked bar is not the dogs fault, be sure you gave your dog enough room to lead into the jump, always be certain that your dog has enough room to clear a jump. Run clean, run happy, and always reward your dog with lots of praise.
